Adopt-A-Teacher Program
Curves is participating in the Adopt-A-Teacher program for new teachers in the Haywood County School System.

Curves Convention
We attended the Annual Curves Convention in Nashville November 5 - 7th. We had a great time & learned so much!
We were welcomed by Gary & Diane Heavin
A great motivational speaker, Andy Andrews, really inspired us. Curves will be using his book, The Traveler's Gift, in our owner's meetings this year.
We have all learned so much from Nadia Rodman, Curves Registered Dietician. I couldn't resist asking her to pose for a picture!
We went to a Costume Party on Thursday night. We were supposed to dress up like our favorite musician, but Avery & I just went as cowgirls. Mom dressed as Dolly Parton, but I won't post any pics because she might kill me if I did!
Don't see this very often....Tina Turner gettin' down with Minnie Pearl!
On Friday night, they did a Balloon Glow. 2 lucky ladies also won a ride in the Curves hot air balloon. How cool would that be?

FREE Weight Management Class
Curves of Brownsville will be conducting a free weight management class Saturday, November 14, 2009, at 10 a.m. The classes will teach Curves' proven method for losing weight and raising metabolism. More studied than any other program, Curves' classes are based on the groundbreaking new research findings of the Exercise & Sport Nutrition Laboratory at Texas A&M University. Classes are open to members and non-members.
Classes include: Start-Up Class (90 minutes) for first-time participants; Phase 3 (30 minutes) to teach the last and most important stage of the Curves Weight management Plan and the secret that makes the plan work; and Special Topics Classes (30 minutes) will cover a different topic each month. This month's topic is Cancer Prevention.
THIS MONTH'S SPECIAL TOPIC CLASS: DIABETES
